The Node.js Technical Steering Committee has released Node.js 26 LTS (codename 'Titanium'), elevating the experimental node:sqlite module to full production status.

Developers can now execute synchronous and asynchronous SQLite operations directly through the Node standard library without installing third-party compiled packages like better-sqlite3. In addition, the Web Crypto API has been updated to support raw post-quantum key generation algorithms.
